The season of Easter, or Eastertide is a 50-day joyous celebration in Christianity, spanning from Easter Sunday to Pentecost Sunday (May 24). It commemorates the resurrection of Jesus Christ, his time on earth, the Ascension, and the coming of the Holy Spirit. This "week of weeks" focuses on renewal and new life, often marked by white liturgical colors and declaring that
“Christ is Risen”.
