Opening Hymn #272
“God of the Sparrow”
Invocation *
Prayer of Confession
Eternal God, we, your children, have not accorded you the honor due a parent or the respect owes the one who is served. We have polluted your name with our pretenses of goodness, for we do not practice what we preach. Others observe us and are turned away from Christ by what they see. We have cheated you and others by withholding our best for ourselves.
Heavenly Father forgive us for we covet positions of honor and chase after public recognition. Our good deeds are designed more to impress the right people than to help needy ones. We have been faithless to one another, eating the bread of anxious toil. O God, we are repentant that we have caused others to stumble. We beg you to pardon us and restore us to your service. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
(A time of silence for personal reflection, to be ended with the ringing of the bell.)

PROVERBS: LIFE SKILLS FROM GOD
Elder Mark Jardiniano & CPYF
Affirmation of Faith
Rooted in God’s grace and growing together in love and wisdom, we believe that we have been chosen even before the foundation of world to be holy and blameless in His sight. In love God predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will - to the praise of His glorious grace.
We believe that in Him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace.
We believe that given this assurance of our salvation in Jesus Christ, even before the world was made, we will love God more, serve God’s people with all our best intentions, teat each other befitting of God’s sons and daughters. This we believe and so we live, Amen.

ANNOUNCEMENTS
Youth Sunday - July 19, 2026
Welcome! We’re so glad you’re here in-person worshipping today; and we’re grateful for everyone joining us by Online Streaming as well. We pray that you experienced God’s presence in a special way and encountered our Risen Savior with joy and hope.
Welcome to Youth Sunday!
Today we celebrate our young people as they step forward to serve, share, and worship with us. Even the bulletin cover was created by our youth, designed by our very own Sean Amoranto. We’re excited and grateful to see them leading in faith, using their God-given gifts with joy and confidence. Let’s encourage them, pray for them, and celebrate what God is doing in their lives today.
With hearts full of love and deep sorrow, we share the passing of this precious 8-month-old baby boy
