Prelude / Silent Meditation

Karine Bendicion

(The Lord is in His holy temple, let all the earth be silent before Him.)

Call to Worship

One: Father of glory and Architect of creation, blessed be your holy name!
All: Son of God and Son of Man, Lord Jesus, we praise you!
One: Holy Spirit, Comforter and Counselor, we revel in your presence.
All: Surround us now, Holy Three, and we gather.
Together: Draw us deep into the mystery and glory of your eternal community.

Opening Hymn #138

“Holy, Holy, Holy! Lord God Almighty!”

Invocation *

Prayer of Confession

Eternal and loving Father, you comfort, support and encourage us. Your love and kindness go beyond our understanding. Your grace is richer and deeper than we can begin to comprehend. Yet despite your gracious love and faithful care, we seek to go our own way and to trust our own resources. Time after time, we choose our plans over your will. Over and over again, our pride, self-reliance and self-centeredness lead us astray.

We confess we are sinners in need of forgiveness. We admit we are flawed, Broken people in need of mercy. Through the person and work of Jesus Christ, forgive us for all the times we have failed you. Cleanse us and bring us back in Your embrace. Renew our minds for Your kingdom’s sake. Empower us to be Your disciples for His glory. We pray through Jesus Christ our Lord, in the power of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

(A time of silence for personal reflection, to be ended with the ringing of the bell.)

TRINITY SUNDAY TODAY

Today we proclaim the mystery of our faith in the Triune God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Unlike other days in the church year, Trinity Sunday centers not on an event but on a doctrine: the wondrous, unfathomable reality of the One God in Three Persons. It is a day of awe, adoration, and praise for the eternal and incomprehensible God.

WE’D LOVE TO PRAY WITH YOU.

Our Wednesday Prayer Meetings are open to everyone. Come as you are and let’s seek God together.
